NEA President Van Roekel just introduced New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson as NEA's Education Governor of the Year.
His list of accomplishments in turning around the public education system in New Mexico is impressive. He increased funding and support and New Mexico's schools responded by increasing test scores and decreasing drop out rates.
I wonder what would happen if we tried that approach in Arizona.
I will post a link to the speech when it becomes available.
