The rumor mill was spinning them out fast yesterday just before noon. Un-cited sources-- but always someone "close to the budget process"-- were declaring a budget deal had been reached. The central point was an agreement to refer a tax question (presumably Brewer's 1% sales tax increase) to the citizens in a 2010 special election.In the end, it was speculation.
It is June 11th. There are 20 days left. There is no budget.
