Today begins a month-long coordinated effort to bring public school supporters to the capitol to talk with lawmakers about the budget and its impact on students and schools. It's called the Heat Wave.
I am headed out shortly to meet first with Valley Interfaith and then to an education briefing before moving to the capitol. I am hoping to interview some of the other participants at the event and bring their stories here.
