This might help explain why the budget situation in Arizona is truly a crisis. We already spend near the bottom on universities and (especially) K-12 education. Further cuts would cheat students out of what they deserve: a quality education. We should be looking for new ways to invest in and improve our education system, not using fear as an excuse to slash and burn it.
