It is very unusual watching a party which is normally disciplined and on message begin to eat their own.
Speaker of the House Kirk Adams, also a Republican, holds a similar view of the Governor.
He called her veto "irresponsible and reckless" and added it "puts schoolchildren, hardworking teachers and employees in our public schools in jeopardy."
That last part assumes the state would not fun public education at all.... which is sort of silly.

Yeah, like their f-ing budget didn't also put schoolchildren, hardworking teachers and employees in our public schools in jeopardy. And like Adams really cares.
